Capabilities of various types of users

Learner's Capabilities

Within our LMS, learners are able to:

• Change their interface language to French, German, Portuguese, or any other language amongst more than 35 inbuilt languages. This gives the user a highly personalized and global learning experience.
• Interact among themselves and discuss any questions or ideas they have using the Live Chat Sessions. This feature supports URLs, icons, images, etc. Chat logs are created and can be viewed later.
• Make postings on various forums and exchange ideas, including images. They can view the postings based on their preferences: nested, flat, threaded, oldest or newest first.
• Upload assignments on the server in any file format and the LMS will record the time it was uploaded. If they submit assignments after the due date, the actual time is recorded.
• View their grades and comments for assignments.
• Receive feedback from the Admin / Trainer by email.
• Gain a broader perspective by evaluating other learners’ documents (at the discretion of the Admin / Trainer).

Admin / Trainer's Capabilities

The Admin / Trainer has an extensive array of capabilities, including:

• Complete control over course settings and activities including Forums, Quizzes, Surveys, Assignments, Chats, etc.
• The ability to issue online assignments to learners.
• Tools to create and add a database of quiz questions. Quizzes can be saved in specific categories (which can be published) and include an automatic grading system. Quiz questions and answer options can also be shuffled in a random order, if desired.
• Access to online surveys through the built-in Survey feature that make it possible to solicit learners' feedback on a specific course they have taken or to check learners' demand for a new course.
• Tools to design learning plans, and provide assignments including due date and grading criteria.
• A WYSIWYG HTML editor for each text entry area such as resources or forum postings.
• Tools to track learners' login information and their performance.
• Customizable criteria for assigning grades to the assignments.
• Upload features that make it possible to add new courses and send notifications related to assignments,
  upcoming events, assignment, and deadlines.

Super Admin Capabilities

In addition to all access rights, learner privileges and Admin / Trainer rights, the Super Admin has the capability to:

• Create new users
• Edit any user's settings
• Add new courses
• Edit user enrollments for courses
• Assign an Admin / Trainer for a course
• Change LMS settings like language, look and feel etc.
• Add new interface color themes
• Take course back-ups and restore earlier back-up files
• Add text filters
